A pair of cars belonging to family friends of the Washington state teenager suspected of killing 6-year-old Jenise Paulette Wright were vandalized early Thursday, Bremerton police said. Chief Steven Strachan said police were called to a home in East Premerton at 1 a.m. Thursday, where they found one vehicle had been "burned" and another vehicle had a message related to Wright "scratched on it." Authorities are investigating.
Gabriel Zebediah Gaeta, 17, a student at Olympic High School and the suspect in the killing of Wright, was being held Thursday on $1 million bail pending adult charges of first-degree murder with multiple aggravating circumstances and first-degree rape of a child. He could face life in prison if he's convicted.
