Seattleites may still be distraught over losing their beloved SuperSonics to Oklahoma City seven years ago, but this is ridiculous.
A man with a hammer but not much of a plan got stuck in a basketball hoop at a Seattle park on May Day — occasionally dangling from his foot. A fire ladder truck and two firefighters were needed to cut him loose from the net. Police said Monday he won't be charged.
The weird incident not only yielded a gold-plated video. It also gave the Seattle Police Department's famously quirky PR crew an excuse to tweet this:
Police said Monday the man was sent for a mental health evaluation.
