A woman has been charged with murdering her husband Monday night by police investigating a triple homicide at her home near Charlotte, North Carolina.
Crystal Leah Gambino, 42, was arrested in Stanley after a concerned family member called police to a house in Alexis at about 8 p.m. That's where authorities found three gunshot victims.
Gambino has been charged with the first-degree murder in the death of her husband, Giovanni Gambino, 40, who lived at the house.
“Efforts to identify the two other victims is ongoing, but they are believed to be visitors to the home,” the Gaston County Police Department said in a news release. “The investigation continues and further charges are expected as the other victims are identified.”
Crystal was being held in the Gaston County Jail without bond, the news release said.
