A tornado damaged several homes and barns in rural Missouri on Thursday.

The fast-moving twister hit the village of Jameson, in Daviess County, NBC News station KSHB reported.

No injuries were reported.

The system also brought funnel clouds and hail to the northwestern part of the state.

The early-spring tornado came a day after several rare twisters touched down in California.
