Calls don’t come much closer than this: An Idaho woman filming wild storms rolling through her city this week had her cell phone knocked from her hand when lightning struck right next to her, NBC affiliate KHQ in Spokane, Wash., reported.
The station asked for viewers to send in their videos of a storm that swept through eastern Washington and western Idaho Tuesday. While other videos focused on flooding and hail, the lightning video was the most electrifying. No one was hurt in the incident.
