Flames spread from a massive fire at the site of a seven-story downtown apartment complex under construction in Los Angeles, Calif., on Dec. 8. Over 250 firefighters battled the early morning blaze which shut down two major freeways, the Los Angeles Fire Department and California Highway Patrol said.
