LEUNEBURG, Germany — The so-called "Accountant of Auschwitz" on trial for his role in the deaths of 300,000 Jews faced a handful of people who survived the Nazi concentration camp on Wednesday.

NBC News' Chief Global Correspondent Bill Neely is attending the trial of ex-guard Oskar Groening, 93, and recounts the emotional testimony of survivor Susan Pollack.
