LONDON — A man discovered attempting to eat a murdered woman in a Welsh hotel was shot by police with a Taser, Britain's Independent newspaper reported on Friday. He later died.
Police said they were called to an incident at a hotel in Argoed, Wales, after reports of a man attacking a woman. The suspect was shot with a stun gun and he subsequently died, police said. A murder investigation is underway into the death of the woman. Many of the details of the incident were not immediately clear, but the matter has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission. A spokesman for the Welsh police declined further comment.
