Police in Nepal are investigating allegations a 40-year-old American woman was gang-raped at a hotel. Two men have been arrested but deny any connection to the alleged incident, Katmandu Deputy Inspector General Biswo Raj Singh Shahi told NBC News on Monday. Another two suspects are being hunted, police say.

The Xinhua and AFP news agencies reported that the alleged incident happened at a hotel in Thamel area of Katmandu. Inspector Chhiring Kippa Lama, of the city's Tourist Police, said the Ohio-born woman had been in the country for about a year on a business visa.
