A bridge too far?

Chris Christie is meeting with Sandy victims today as he tries to move on from the bridge scandal.

But Democrats are doing all they can to not let it go. “The Assembly already has tapped Reid Schar, the federal prosecutor who helped convict former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich of corruption, to aid in the investigation,” AP reports.

Meanwhile, NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell reports: Aides in the Governor's office say they will release later today that the firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP has been retained to assist with the internal review Governor Christie announced during his news conference last week.

Christie faces a big test this weekend when he hits the road for fundraisers in Florida.
