'ED Show' playbook: Wed., May 16

Mitt Romney and the Republicans say there's no such thing as income inequality, President Obama is killing jobs and Democrats suffering from "envy."  But Vice President Joe Biden is really letting them have it!

Ed will have that tonight, plus he’ll debunk Romney’s bogus theories about spending the debt with help from Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) and this telling chart:

New numbers show independents want the president to crack down on big banks. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) will discuss the regulations we need to prevent another disaster.

John boehner tees up another debt ceiling showdown.  And another establishment candidate falls victim to the tea party.  Howard Fineman, NBC News Political Analyst and Editorial Director of the Huffington Post Media Group, looks at the rough road ahead for Republican leaders.

And in the Big Finish, Gov. Dan Malloy (D-CT) will tell us how his state put an end to the Republican war on public education.

It's going to be yet another packed @EdShow at 8pET on @msnbctv.
