Politicians' need for praise generates press releases, and so it was Tuesday when The Nature Conservancy set out to thank freshmen U.S. Reps. Derek Kilmer and Denny Heck for setting up a Congressional Puget Sound Recovery Caucus.
But the Conservancy mixed up a political actor and a movie actor. “Big news yesterday from Denny Heck and VAL Kilmer,” said its press release of praise. A correction was hastily sent a few minutes later.
