Staff Sgt. Doug Andrus told reporters late Thursday that police had new information but could not say more. “We've obtained … video and film from both neighbors' homes and businesses in the area,” he said, according to broadcaster CBC. “I would say it’s less of a mystery but I can’t comment on the degree,” he added, according to the Calgary Sun newspaper. The Liknes are not considered suspects in the case, the Calgary Police Department said Thursday.
