Putin's First Tweet Recalls Warmer Relationship with Obama

Ahhh, the happy days of November 2012, when Barack Obama was a freshly re-elected president and Vladimir Putin was handing out congratulations on Twitter.

Twitter turned eight on Friday, and the social-media giant rolled out a new feature this week that allows users to go back and view their very first tweet. Some are better than others, including the Russian president's first offering after Obama's re-election:
