KABUL, Afghanistan — A suicide bomber struck the parking lot of Afghan’s Ministry of Justice Tuesday, killing four and wounding at least 24, officials said.
The bomber forced his way into the facility before detonating himself amid the vehicles of ministry workers, Ministry of Information spokesman Sediq Sediqqi told NBC News.
"The bomber forced his way into the parking lot by hitting the guard at the gate," Sediqqi said.
The Afghan Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, which happened just after 7:30 a.m. ET.
It comes two days after a large explosion near Kabul's airport killed three and injured nearly two dozen others.
