When Janice Weinberg submitted this photo to It's a Snap, she titled it "King of the Ngorongoro Crater." Even though that looks like a lioness, we thought the majestic pose was very king-like.
Weinberg, who lives in Redmond, Wash., took this photo while visiting Tanzania in June 2009. The crater, according to the Tanzania Tourist Board, is often referred to as "Africa's Eden." In addition to lions, herds of zebra and wildebeest can be seen along the crater's rim.
Of the photo, Weingberg said: "I was on safari in Tanzania and it was a beautiful location with a beautiful wild animal surveying [its] surroundings."
