LONDON — Two men and a woman have been charged with terror offenses in Britain, authorities said Friday.
Mohammed Ali Ahmed and Zakaria Boufassil, both 26, of Birmingham, England, were charged Thursday with supplying cash "for the purposes of terrorism," West Midlands Police said in a statement.
The pair are accused of supplying the money on or before July 7 last year.
Ahmed, along with a 29-year-old woman named Soumaya Boufassil, was also charged with obtaining money "with the intention of committing acts of terrorism or assisting another to commit such acts," police said. Soumaya Boufassil is also from the Small Health area of Birmingham.
The trio appeared at a London court Friday.
