Spontaneous Tribute to WWII Veteran Goes Viral

The San Jose, Calif., runners participating in an annual race to benefit military veterans were already giving back to the community -- but then they did something even more remarkable: they paused in the middle of their event to shake a veteran's hand.

One by one, the runners stopped to thank Joe Bell, 95, who stood at the sidelines, cheering them on in full uniform. When a local reporter saw what was happening she grabbed her camera and started filming.
