American Airlines plans to keep Boeing 737 Max out of its fleet until new year

Boeing is still testing the overhauled software on its troubled 737 Max and could request FAA approval in November - though that approval may not come until weeks later. American Airlines and Southwest have announced plans to keep the Max out of their fleets until January. Experts tell NBC’s Tom Costello that they don’t expect the schedule change to impact ticket prices during the holiday travel rush.
