Boy hurt by airborne umbrella raises concerns about beach hazards

A 13-year-old boy was seriously wounded after high winds picked up a beach umbrella in Gloucester, Massachusetts and drove it into his shoulder. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says some 2,800 people were hurt by beach umbrellas between 2010 and 2018.Aug. 10, 2019
