Buddy Up Tennis serves up fitness, friendship and the chance of a lifetime to play at U.S. Open

Athletes with Down syndrome got to play on the biggest stage in tennis at the U.S Open, the very same court where their heroes play. They’re part of Buddy Up Tennis, a program that pairs athletes with a buddy to guide them through practice. It was started by Beth Gibson, inspired by her son Will, and teaches life lessons far beyond how to play tennis.
