Conviction integrity units working to exonerate the wrongfully convicted (Part 1)


Dozens of prosecutor’s offices across the U.S. have created conviction integrity units in recent years to reinvestigate past cases. Philadelphia’s unit has exonerated 12 men convicted of murder since 2018, including Chester Hollman who served 28 years for a murder he did not commit.
