The legendary Dallas police detective, James Leavelle, who was handcuffed to JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald when he was shot by Jack Ruby was honored today by the Dallas Police Department. Leavelle survived Pearl Harbor and joined the force in 1950. NBC’s Charles Hadlock reports. May 15, 2013
