In Kansas City, Troost Avenue is a dividing line. By historical design, neighborhoods east of Troost are black, neighborhoods west of Troost are white. But now change is underway, as residents are making change in their community, causing more people to flock to restaurants and shops on both sides of the street that bisects the city.
