Georgia school aims to reinstate paddling to discipline students
The Georgia School of Innovation and the Classics is asking parents to sign off on the “paddle policy,” which would allow a student to be hit with a paddle after their third offense. The alternative punishment, for parents who don’t consent, is up to a week’s suspension.
