Najibullah Zazi, the ringleader of a thwarted plot to bomb the New York City subway, was sentenced today to ten years in prison in a federal court. However, because Zazi has been in federal custody since his arrest in 2009, his lawyer says the sentence essentially amounts to time served and Zazi will be free in a few days.May 2, 2019
