Surgeon general warns pregnant women and teenagers against marijuana use

The U.S. Surgeon General issued a strong warning for moms-to-be, saying that smoking pot to alleviate morning sickness can pose a serious risk to children, including impacting the baby’s brain and resulting in lower birth weight. Teens who use the drug, three times more potent than 20 years ago, can have problems with attention, memory and decision-making.
