Top aides call Trump’s Ukraine call ‘unusual’ and ‘inappropriate’ in impeachment hearing


For the first time in the impeachment proceedings, House Democrats heard from witnesses who were listening in on the July phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman said he was “concerned” by the call, and Vice President Pence’s former special adviser Jennifer Williams said the call felt “political in nature.”
