Two scandals reopening old wounds on race in Virginia


State Attorney General Mark Herring revealed he and some friends put on brown makeup and wigs to attend a party in 1980, while Gov. Ralph Northam continues to resist mounting calls from within his own party to resign after a photo showing one person in blackface and another wearing a KKK costume in his medical school yearbook resurfaced last week.
