New Mexico State fires head coach following hazing allegations

New Mexico State University officials announced that basketball coach Greg Heiar was fired for hazing allegations after a player reported three teammates attacked him. The basketball program has been shut down for the remainder of the season and the university says that the future of the rest of the coaching staff is also at risk until some additional investigations are completed.
