Women look to hospital birth alternatives during COVID-19 pandemic


Midwives are seeing a surge in expectant mothers' interest in home births to avoid hospitals. The American Academy of Pediatrics issued updated safety recommendations for at-home births saying the hospital is still the safest setting for births in the U.S. amid the coronavirus. NBC News spoke with some mothers about their concerns and plans for birth.
