Texas Attorney General Runoff Primary Election Results: Ken Paxton is the GOP nominee

Republican incumbent Ken Paxton, who is under indictment on felony securities fraud charges  and has faced a host of other ethics issues, won handily in a runoff primary against Land Commissioner George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and nephew of former President George W. Bush.

He'll face Democratic nomineee Rochelle Garza, an American Civil Liberties Union attorney, in November, NBC News projected.
