The matriarch of the Bush family may be coming around to the idea of extending their political dynasty.

According to her son Jeb Bush, at least.

The former Florida governor told the Associated Press that his mother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, is now neutral to the idea of him running for president in 2016. It is a notable reversal from her comments last year on NBC’s “TODAY” when she said the country has had “enough Bushes” in the White House.

Jeb Bush told the AP his mother is now "trending in a different direction."

Also notable is that Bush said his wife, Columba, is also supportive of a potential presidential run. Columba Bush has previously shied from the spotlight and reportedly been against the idea of a presidential campaign.

Former President George W. Bush recently said he thinks his brother "wants to be president."
