Advisers to Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio say their "current thinking" for his planned presidential roll out is centered onApril 13th as a "likely" date, with a Florida location to be finalized early this week.
Rubio's team has secured at least one location for consideration, "The Freedom Tower." That site which is now an art museum holds significance for the Cuban American community in south Florida because many immigrants were processed by federal authorities there back decades ago.
But the Rubio team is also considering other announcement locations meaningful to Rubio and the Cuban community, including his West Miami residential neighborhood and one of its parks.
As is typical, the 43 year old, first term senator would be joined by his wife Jeanette, their four young children and family to launch his campaign.
