DSCC Back Up On the Air in Kentucky

NBC News confirms that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has begun to advertise again for Alison Grimes (D) in Kentucky's Senate race.

Last week, the DSCC had decided not to re-up its media buy in the state -- and that news came after all the attention Grimes received for refusing to say if she voted for President Barack Obama.

Why the change? Democrats say the race has tightened.

The new buy isn't huge -- $650,000.

And Republicans say the move is out of desperation. NRSC spokesman Brad Dayspring tweeted:
