It may be a getaway day for many politics watchers, but that didn't stop Sen. Rand Paul from taking to Twitter to celebrate the parody holiday of "Festivus" on Tuesday.

The likely presidential hopeful poked fun at politicos on both sides of the aisle, participating via his half-million-follower-strong Twitter feed in the satirical tradition of the "Airing of Grievances" -- made famous in a 1997 episode of "Seinfeld."

And he even made a reference to his possible 2016 presidential bid.

Paul wrote that he'll be back later Tuesday afternoon with further grievances against the media.
