America. Gina. Whatever.

As actress America Ferrera took the podium at the Golden Globes nominations announcement Thursday morning, the event's official Twitter account posted about the event's beginning — with just one little problem.

"@HereIsGina is kicking off the @goldenglobes nominations announcements," read the tweet, referencing the Twitter handle for Gina Rodriguez. Oops.

The tweet confusing Ferrera and Rodriguez, both Latina actresses, was quickly deleted as the account got flooded with people pointing out the mistake:

Others, including an NBC News reporter, also heard someone on the live broadcast confuse the two:

Rodriguez wasn't a presenter at the Golden Globes, although she did win a nomination for best actress in a comedy TV series for her role in "Jane the Virgin" — an award she won a year ago.
