Former pro basketball and realty TV star Lamar Odom is transferring to a Los Angeles hospital to continue treatment after he was found unresponsive last week at a legal brothel in Nevada, sources close to him told NBC News' sister network E! Monday.
Odom, 35, the estranged husband of Khloé Kardashian, regained consciousness Friday, three days after he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch in the western Nevada town of Crystal.
Sources close to Odom told E! over the weekend that Odom has been taken off life support is breathing on his own. He was able to say hello to Kardashian.
Odom was rushed to a local hospital and then taken to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas after a multi-day, $75,000 party with two women, during which he used a sexual performance supplement. The former Los Angeles Lakers star had multiple drugs in his system at the time, according to medical personnel.
Doctors have also said Odom suffered at least one stroke, which could lead to brain damage.
