Singer and actor Ray J, most famous for being Kim Kardashian's sex tape partner, was arraigned Thursday on charges of sexual battery and resisting arrest, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. The 33-year-old artist was arrested on May 30 after he allegedly groped a woman at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel bar, Deputy District Attorney Candice Jan said. While in police custody, he allegedly broke a patrol car window and spat on an officer, Jan added.

Ray J, whose real name is Willie Ray Norwood, pleaded not guilty to four misdemeanor counts of sexual battery, vandalism, battery on a police officer and resisting/delaying a peace officer. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 28. If convicted of the four charges, he faces a maximum sentence of four years in county jail. He is the brother of singer and actress Brandy.
