The owner of an Oregon home prominently featured in the 1985 film "The Goonies" is telling fans of the children's adventure flick to truffle-shuffle off.
The picturesque property in the small town of Astoria is now draped in blue tarp and has been permanently closed to the public, NBC affiliate KGW reported.
The private home was reportedly a big tourist draw, luring an estimated 1,500 visitors daily — exacerbated earlier this summer when the film celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Now, city signs warn fans not to park in the neighborhood and that access to the house is off limits.
The home's owner, Sandi Preston, had allowed people to take photos outside and even go inside the two-story house on occasion.
But the recent frenzy became too much, prompting the restriction — and disappointing visitors, KGW reported.
"It's a bummer as someone who just wanted to come see a piece of (my) childhood," Ashley Jones told the station.
