The friend of Bobbi Kristina Brown who found her face down in a bathtub last week had nothing to do with the incident and only wants to see her heal, his attorney told NBC News. Maxwell Lomas, 24, was a frequent house guest of Brown, and discovered the 21-year-old unresponsive in the bathroom of her suburban Atlanta home. "He's very upset," said Lomas' attorney, Philip Holloway. "He wants nothing more than to see Bobbi Kristina open her eyes, wake up and make a full and complete recovery."
Lomas was arrested and charged last month with weapons and drug offenses, and pleaded not guilty, Holloway said. Police have previously said that no drugs were found inside the home Brown shares with her partner, Nick Gordon.
A source told E! Brown's family also slammed rumors that they were gathering at the hospital for anything other than to keep vigil at her side. The daughter of late pop diva Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was placed in a medically induced coma and has been breathing with the help of a ventilator, family and friends said.
"She is not brain dead and the Houstons and the Browns are not fighting," the source told E! on Thursday.
