The show known for its satire of the world's brightest stars and politicians has weighed in in real-time on the U.S. presidential election.

"The Simpsons" over the weekend released a short episode on YouTube parodying the notorious "3 a.m. call" made famous by Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign for president.

Homer and Marge watch on television as they try to decide how to vote.

"It's 3 a.m., and the phone's ringing in the White House," a voice narrates in a political ad "paid for by Americans who are really starting to miss Obama."

"Who do you want to answer that call?" the narrator asks.

The Clintons take the first punch, with a wide awake and eager former President Bill Clinton answering the call. Dejected, he hands the phone to Hillary. "Oh, it's for you," he says.

"The Chinese fleet is advancing? Just build another wall"

But Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump bears the full force of the "The Simpsons" mockery.

Trump is caricatured as wide-awake and declining the "emergency" call from "Situation Room" to finish a tweet gloating about having exiled Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who routinely attacks Trump on Twitter and in speeches.

He then orders his name to be put on the Lincoln Memorial. "Make Chris Christie eat a worm just for laughs, disband NATO and make me some scrambled eggs on a gold plate," he adds.

Trump, who is portrayed as having a book of "Great Speeches" by Hitler for bedtime reading, proceeds to take the second call, only to be too late to address the segment's "emergency" after hours of primping by a handful of staff.

"We're too late? The Chinese fleet is advancing?" Trump says to a presumed advisor on the other end of the call. "Just build another wall. Yes! In the ocean, loser."
