President Trump on Tuesday attempted to clarify his earlier comments about Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election. Reading from prepared remarks, the president claimed he misspoke and meant to say “wouldn’t” instead of “would” in the context of the statement, “I don’t see any reason why I wouldn’t or why it wouldn’t be Russia.” NBC’s Kristen Welker reports for TODAY.
