Ambush Attack: Two NYPD Officers Fatally Shot in Brooklyn
A gunman ambushed and fatally shot two NYPD officers in their squad car in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Saturdy.

Investigators work in the area where two NYPD officers were shot in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn. Police said an armed man, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, walked up to the two officers sitting inside their patrol car and opened fire before running into a nearby subway station and committing suicide. Both police officers, identified as Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, were killed.
