Mourners Pay Respects to Second Slain Brooklyn Officer

Police, family and friends honored slain Brooklyn officer Wenjian Liu at a wake held in his honor on Saturday.

New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton, his wife Rikki Klieman (Right) and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (Left) depart from the wake for Officer Wenjian Liu. New York City police guards saluted as de Blasio entered the Brooklyn funeral home on Saturday with Bratton. This action was in contrast to the hundreds of police who turned their backs to video screens showing the mayor speaking at last week's funeral of Liu's police partner, Rafael Ramos.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and his girlfriend Sandra Lee depart the wake for slain New York Police officer Wenjian Liu. The governor arrived Saturday, just two days after Cuomo's father — former Gov. Mario Cuomo — died at his home. He said his late father would have wanted him to be there.
