An Egyptian worker hangs leather to dry at a dyeing workshop in old Cairo. Dyeing fabrics and leather is one of the oldest hand crafts in the country and can be dated to the early days of ancient Pharaonic Egypt. Old tanneries in the will be relocated to the Robbiki tannery district in Badr City, about 45km from Cairo.
