Yarmouk Refugee Camp

Sources say that in Yarmouk Camp, just south of Damascus, more than 80 people have died since the beginning of the year, most of them children. Editor's note: This slideshow contains images that some viewers may find disturbing.

Civilians are gathered at the Alrigh entrance of Yarmouk camp while waiting for the road to open and for aid to begin being distributed.

Rahaf, 25 days old, and Leila Khaled Da'do, a four-month-old, both died on Jan. 28, 2014. The two children were struck by disease, drought and malnutrition, which led to their deaths.

Abed Al Jalil Khamis, just under a year old, is seen in Yarmouk camp. He later starved to death on Jan. 28, 2014.
