Apple's livestream of its biggest announcement of the year, the introduction of its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, ran into a host of technical issues. Viewers reported a low-quality videostream that cut out constantly or momentarily froze. More bizarrely, for some would-be viewers, the voice of a Mandarin Chinese translation played in the in the background for a good chunk of Apple CEO Tim Cook's presentation. The livestream was only available to watch on Apple devices — so at least Windows users were spared the technical frustration. Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
