Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney urged Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer to veto a controversial measure that could allow businesses to refuse service to gays and lesbians.

Romney joined the chorus of prominent Republicans to urge Brewer, a fellow Republican, to reject the legislation, known as S.B. 1062.
