Parishioners cleaned a room in the basement of the Emanuel A.M.E. Church on Sunday where a pastor and eight others were killed in a mass shooting earlier in the week.
The congregation at the church swayed and sang, prayed and welcomed the world into their sanctuary, holding the first worship service since a white gunman was accused of opening fire during a Bible study group.
